The couple moved to North Branford in the 1980s, after marrying and living for a few months in Virginia, where they met on a business trip, she said. Lou Paternoster grew up in the Trumbull area and attended Trumbull High School, according to Betty Jo Paternoster. “The ‘community Lou’ right now is shining like a golden star.” Not your average umpire “I’m soakin’ in all the good things that I’m hearing from other people about him, because those things mean the world,” she said.
